Kotuku Bird Painting.

Here are our latest art masterpieces. We based our work on the NZ artist Shane Hansen who uses bold colours and strong shapes.
We were lucky to be lent an original print and study the work up close. We used paint and then black felt or black paint to define our areas of cool colours. We left the paper white for the clouds and kotuku.

Buddy Class Visit

 Room 9 met their Room 25 Buddies on Friday. Room 9 read and shared a picture book and introduced themselves.

Some of us in Room 9 shared a buddy as we outnumbered the children in Room 25.
